小学校時代はアメリカ、高校時代はドイツで過ごす。
大学在学中にラップを始め、アルバムを2作リリース。
ラッパーの活動から、次第にソングライティングへの情熱を深め、作詞・作曲を本格的に開始する。
レコード会社および音楽出版社での勤務を経て、作詞・作曲活動に専念。
初提供の楽曲にてオリコンランキング週間2位を獲得、その後も手がけた作品が数々のゴールドおよびプラチナディスクを獲得する。
2022年には、NiziU「CLAP CLAP」の作詞に参加し、第64回日本レコード大賞の優秀作品賞を受賞。
現在は、長年の海外生活の経験を活かし、世界中のクリエイターと共に製作活動に励む。

KENTZ, is a Tokyo based music producer/ songwriter / lyricist, with many chart topping singles under his belt, earning him numerous amounts of Gold disk and Platinum disk's.

He first started his career in the music business as a rapper while studying in University. 

He lived in America and Germany for 10 years. Fluent in English, he works worldwide with creators around the world.
